I-376 Parkway East Shoulder Restriction Set to Begin

Work on the Over Height Truck Detection System and highway lighting begins Monday, PennDOT says.

Work on the Over Height Truck Detection System and highway lighting on the Parkway East (I-376) will begin on Monday, Sept. 16, according to PennDOT.

As part of the project, PennDOT has announced that the right shoulder will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the eastbound Parkway East between the Squirrel Hill Tunnel and the Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) interchange.  

Work is expected to be completed on Sunday, Sept. 29, with Walsh Construction performing the job.
