I was born and raised in West Mifflin, the daughter of five generations of Pittsburgh steel workers. I'm a social worker by training and a social media addict by choice. I have an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Marymount University and a MSW in community organizing from the University of Pittsburgh. 

I now live on the Northside with my partner, Laura, and our furry crew. 

My interests are being green, fighting hunger & poverty and interesting things to do in Pittsburgh.
