Rather than write a traditional bio, i'm going to do this as a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) as we say in the intertubes.

Q: Where are you from?

A: I grew up in a small borough about 45min up the Route 28 corridor called Tarentum.  We have a nice riverside park, a small commercial district and a open-to-the-public touring mine.  Tarentum is experiencing the same things that most municipalities in PA are going through, i.e. aging population, increasing rental-to-homeowner ratio, declining tax revenue, etc.  It's a great town with good history and I root for it to reach its old glory every day.

Q: What do you do for fun?

A: My life right now mostly consists of work, sleep, home maintenance and the occasional few hours on my Xbox360.  My wife and I found time to go bowling regularly at Swissvale Bowlarama and we make time together as often as we can.

Q: Books, TV, Movies, etc?

A: I read pretty much anything put in front of me.  Favorite books would be Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, any book in The Discworld Series by Terry Pratchett, and The Illuminatus! Trilogy.  My Tivo is loaded regularly with Robot Chicken, The Big Bang Theory, Doctor Who, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and others.  A couple fave movies would be The Big Lebowski, UHF, Evil Dead (1, 2, and Army of Darkness), Shaun of the Dead...

Q: So how about this whole blogging thing?

A: Yeah, I've written off and on over the years.  Some things respectable and some things not-so-respectable.  Don't get me wrong, it wasn't like I was writing captions for Hustler photos or anything like that (though, I read an article by a fellow who had that job.  Didn't sound glamorous by any stretch of the imagination), but I have written some things i'm not 100% proud of, mostly due to immaturity.  Then again, i've been very proud of a few pieces.  They were mostly in high school, however, so take from that what you will.
