Brian Tierney is a freelance reporter based in Pittsburgh, PA. He graudated from Duquesne University in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in English and journalism. In 2010, Brian graduated with a Master's in English from Duquesne, where he currently teaches freshman composition and literature. While reporting and teaching, he offers editorial assistance at Creative Nonfiction, a literary magazine based in the Shadyside section of the city. His work has also appeared in Pittsburgh City Paper.
