Want to try your luck at a Powerball lottery ticket? You only need one $2 ticket to play. The Powerball jackpot was boosted to $600 million, or a $376.9 million cash prize for the Saturday, May 18, drawing after none of the tickets sold Wednesday matched the winning numbers. The multi-state mega-lottery had rolled to a $475 million value after Wednesday's drawing, but increased by $75 million Thursday afternoon as a result of strong ticket sales. The $6000 million jackpot is the second-largest jackpot in the game’s history. The largest was won last Nov. 28, 2012, when a $587.5 million jackpot was shared by two tickets sold in Arizona and Missouri. You might not have the winning tickets, but a portion of a half billion dollars could be yours in the latest Powerball drawing. According to the Huffington Post, early Thursday morning officials confirmed that two winning tickets were sold: One in Arizona and one in Missouri. An additional 8,924,123 players won smaller prizes. The winning Powerball numbers for the Nov. 28, 2012 drawing are 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and a Powerball number of 6.
