Tyron David Manns, 23, of East Pittsburgh will have a hearing in county common pleas court.
A man accused of firing shots at the Edgewood Towne Centre will face a county judge in common pleas court. Last week, Tyron David Manns, 23, of East Pittsburgh was held for court on charges of firearms not to be carried without a license, aggravated assault and two counts of recklessly endangering another person. Two counts of recklessly endangering another person were withdrawn. Manns is accused of being involved in a shoot out at the shopping center in March. Three people were injured. Allegheny County police filed the charges. A man accused of being involved in a shooting at Edgewood Towne Centre has surrendered to police. According to Allegheny County Police Lt. Andrew Schurman, Tyron David Manns, 23, surrendered himself to the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office fugitive squad Thursday afternoon. Police has issued an arrest warrant for Manns, an East Pittsburgh resident, on April 1 after a March 30 shooting at Edgewood Towne Centre. Three bystanders were injured during the incident. Manns has been charged with criminal attempt-criminal homicide, carrying a firearm without a license, aggravated assault and four counts of recklessly endangering another person. His preliminary hearing before District Justice Kim Hoots has been scheduled for April 18 at 8:30 a.m. …

The shooting occurred on Saturday.
Three people remain hospitalized after a Saturday shooting at Edgewood Towne Centre. According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, a man walking past the Villa retail store before 4:30 p.m. began shooting at someone inside the store. The man inside shot back. Neither of the men shooting were injured, but three bystanders were hurt. According to WPXI, one bystander was hit in the leg, a second was hit in the upper hip and a third was shot in the upper body. All three were taken to UPMC Presbyterian, and one remains in critical condition. Duwayne DIxon will serve 28 to 56 years for his role in shooting Andre Ripley.
Duwayne Dixon, 24, of Wilkinsburg has been sentenced to 28 to 56 years in prison for his role in shooting former Homewood resident Andre Ripley on Feb. 28, 2008. In May 2007, Andre Ripley was shot three times and a 3-month-old baby was shot during a robbery attempt in Ferguson Park. Ripley, now 26, came forward and testified that he was unarmed when shot by Joshua Evans, a Wilkinsburg gang member. Ten days before Evans' trial date—Feb. 28, 2008, Dixon shot Ripley in the head twice while Ripley was sweeping snow off a neighbor’s car. The investigation into the two shootings ultimately led to the arrest of Joshua Evans, Laron Jones and Duwayne Dixon for the attempt on Ripley’s life. Carl Henderson is taken into custody in Monroeville on Tuesday.
Carl Henderson, 18, of North Braddock has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force on charges of criminal attempt-criminal homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of a firearm. Henderson (also known as "Trigger") is alleged to have shot a female victim once in the abdomen following a verbal altercation on Bell Avenue in North Braddock that occurred on April 8, 2012. Henderson, who was 17 at the time of this incident, is being charged as an adult in this case. Julian Sims, the suspect, is known to frequent Wilkinsburg and Braddock.
A man known to frequent the areas of Wilkinsburg, Braddock, and Duquesne is wanted in connection with the shooting of four people during a New Year's Eve party in McKeesport. According to Allegheny County police, the shooter has been identified as 20-year-old Julian Sims. A warrant has been obtained for Sims, charging him with one count of criminal attempt homicide, four counts of aggravated assault, four counts of recklessly endangering other persons, and firearms violations. Sims has a previously existing warrant for firearms violations. Sims is a light skinned black male, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches; and about 145 pounds. He has freckles and a large tattoo on the left side of his neck that says “Bridgette”. He should be considered …
