The Pennsylvania primary election is on Tuesday, and there are some contested races in the Forest Hills-Regent Square area. Candidates are seeking their party's nomination to appear on the ballot during the November general election. An anniversary event will be held on Sunday, May 19.

On Sunday, May 19, the Regent Square restaurant will be hosting a day filled with music by DJ Selecta and entertainment for guests of all ages to enjoy. Nine candidates are vying for seats on the Woodland Hills School District Board of Education during the May 21 primary election, while two candidates from Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS)' District 1 are looking for spots on the PPS Board of Directors. District 1 includes Pittsburgh's Regent Square neighborhood, while Woodland Hills includes Forest Hills Borough, Edgewood Borough and Swissvale Borough, among other municipalities.
