Allegheny County Police Seek Suspect in McKeesport Shootings
Julian Sims, the suspect, is known to frequent Wilkinsburg and Braddock.
A man known to frequent the areas of Wilkinsburg, Braddock, and Duquesne is wanted in connection with the shooting of four people during a New Year's Eve party in McKeesport. According to Allegheny County police, the shooter has been identified as 20-year-old Julian Sims. A warrant has been obtained for Sims, charging him with one count of criminal attempt homicide, four counts of aggravated assault, four counts of recklessly endangering other persons, and firearms violations. Sims has a previously existing warrant for firearms violations. Sims is a light skinned black male, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches; and about 145 pounds.
