Eat'n Park's Caring for Kids Campaign Breaks Record

All-time high amount benefits Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, other children's hospitals.

Eat’n Park Hospitality Group team members and guests have raised a record total of $421,645 for children’s hospitals and charities across Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia during the company’s 34th annual Caring for Kids Campaign. The contributions included those made at the Eat'n Park in Edgewood Towne Centre. The grand total is an increase of more than 2 percent over the 2011 campaign and is the highest total ever raised in the history of the Caring for Kids Campaign, exceeding the previous record set in 2011 by more than $8,200. A major contribution to the campaign’s total was $154,000 generated by this year’s in-store Ford raffle, shattering previous records of money raised and tickets sold for this fundraiser. Eat'n Park's Caring for Kids Shifts into High Gear

The 34th annual Eat'n Park campaign raises funds for children's hospitals with a chance to win a 2013 Ford Escape—at the Edgewood Towne Centre restaurant and others in region.

Just a few weeks remain in the 34th annual Eat’n Park Caring for Kids Campaign to raise funds for children’s hospitals throughout the region. Through Dec. 18, guests can purchase a $2 raffle ticket at any Eat’n Park restaurant, including the one in Edgewood Towne Centre, for the chance to win a new 2013 Ford Escape. The goal is to top last year’s record-breaking raffle ticket sales, which totaled more than $140,000 in donations. New 2013 Ford Escape SE 4WD vehicles, provided by the Neighborhood Ford Store, are parked at Eat’n Park restaurants to help promote the campaign and remind guests to purchase their raffle tickets.
