This local group, with members that now live in Forest Hills, is gearing up for a summer filled with free shows in Pittsburgh.

One of Pittsburgh’s most creative groups of artists has made a home in Forest Hills, as Jackie Dempsey of Squonk Opera recently moved there with her partner and band mate, David Wallace. Squonk Opera is now celebrating its 20th anniversary with 20 free shows that kick off with the Three Rivers Arts Festival June 8 and extend throughout the summer.
