U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force Captures Shooting Suspect in Braddock
Julian Sims is apprehended Thursday on charges stemming from an incident in McKeesport where four people were shot.
Julian L. Sims, the suspect in a New Year’s Eve shooting that injured four people when he allegedly crashed a party in McKeesport, has been arrested by U.S. Marshals Task Force Officers at approximately 4:30 pm this afternoon in the 400 block of Stokes Ave in Braddock. Allegheny County police issued a warrant for Julian Sims, 20, on charges of criminal attempt homicide, four counts of aggravated assault, four counts of recklessly endangering others and firearms violations following the New Year’s Eve incident. The shooting happened at approximately 3:12 a.m., according to county police. McKeesport police responded to 1506 Versailles Ave. for a shooting with multiple victims.
