Scum of the earth slum lords. They will lie to your face about cleaning/fixing things, enter your apartment at any time without permission or notice, and harass you about renewing your lease 6 months before it's up (if you manage to stay there that long.) I personally do not feel safe renting from people who will enter your apartment at any time. If I could rate them less than one star I would.

They are hands down the worst landlord I've had in 10+ years of renting in four cities.
The buildings themselves might seem "ok" on a rental viewing, but upon moving in you'll find all kinds of surprises, like:
-faulty cabinets/drawers
-inadequate circulation via heating ducts
-poor electrical wiring
And most importantly - PESTS. I've had it all - bugs, ants, mice, rats, cockroaches - even squirrels and racoons were for a time working their way through the walls.
Do NOT believe anything that CP Development "promises" you at signing. If promise new carpeting, fixed drawers, appliances, laundry facilities, etc. - they will NOT follow through, regardless of how frequently you submit your requests. I've been haggling them to fulfill a promised appliance that I have from them IN WRITING that they continue to simply put off (now halfway through the leasing term). This is in addition to a number of maintenance requests that I've been trying to get fulfilled since we moved in.
Do your research - there are a number of sites out there that allow tenants to post reviews of landlords. A brief glance at those will not only corroborate my story, but will quickly lead you to understand why you should avoid renting from CP Development (aka "Regent Square Rentals") at all costs.

If you want to rent from a company that respects your right to quiet enjoyment for an apartment that you pay hard earned money for, look elsewhere. Like the other reviewers, my experience with CP Development -or Regent Square Rentals- has been far less than enjoyable. This company works really hard to stretch the bounds of landlord tenant laws. They do attempt to skirt 24 hours notice on showing your apartment (and will show it every day, several times a day for the last six months of your lease). The emergency maintenance is not 24 hours so you will be out of luck if you have an emergency late at night. There are pest issues (there was an animal SCREAMING in and running through the walls, and no one came out until several days later). The rental staff is rude. One woman in particular, Heidi, is very rude. She will watch you walk in to pay your rent and will tell you to put your check into the mailbox outside like a second class citizen. The apartments stay in disrepair, and repairs made to them are scant and temporary. In short, save yourself the time and money. You deserve a landlord who will not exploit you.
