In honor of the French Open Tennis Tournament in Paris, the Frick Park Clay Court Tennis Club is hosting a block party and celebration this weekend.
The free event will be held at Regent Square’s own red clay courts on Saturday, June 8. The courts are located at 800 Biddle Ave. The party is open to tennis players and non-tennis players alike, and will feature music, food, and club information. The pièce de résistance will be a classic wood racquets doubles tennis tournament open to all players.
Wood racquets will be provided or players may bring their own. Anyone interested in attending can register at http://www.clayfricktennis.org.
