NBC's Pro Football Talk is reporting that former Woodland Hills Wolverine Steve Breaston has been cut by the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs.
Breaston, who also played for the Arizona Cardinals, could end up with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the website says, noting that the Steelers will be looking for a receiver after Mike Wallace signs elsewhere.
The site reports that Breaston was a favorite of Todd Haley, Steelers offensive coordinator, who coached him in both Arizona and Kansas City.
Former Woodland Hills teammate Ryan Mundy plays for the Steelers.
