This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body, breath, and mind. Through a combination of gentle stretches, restorative postures, breathing (pranayama), deep relaxation, and meditation, we gently melt stress away. This all levels class is appropriate for every body, including seniors, in addition to students who simply prefer to move at a slower pace. Individualized instruction and modifications are given to accommodate students with chronic symptoms such as muscle or joint pain, stiffness, weakness, or fatigue. Please note that if you are suffering from major medical issues, please contact Kristie to discuss them so that she can help assess whether this class or a private session might be a better way to serve you. **Please bring a yoga mat, pillow or bolster, and a thin blanket.**
