Woodland Hills Will Have 2-Hour Delay on Wednesday

The cold temperatures will delay the start of school.

Two days, two hours, too cold!

Woodland Hills School District will have its second two-hour delay of the week on Wednesday, Jan. 23.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory, which remains in effect until 11 a.m. Wednesday. Wind chill values will range from 10 to 15 below zero from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Temperatures will range from the single digits to near zero.

A wind chill advisory means that very cold air and strong wind will produce low wind chill incides. If you venture outdoors, make sure you dress properly. Frost bite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken.
