Woodland Hills Mock Trial Team Finishes Season Strong

The team is runner-up in this season's Allegheny County competition.

This has been a good year for the Woodland Hills High School Mock Trial team.

The team began its season with an invitation to participate in the prestigious Benjamin Franklin Invitational at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Senior Mitchell Rode was recognized at this tournament as one of the "best witnesses," according to coach Kevin McGuire, high school library media specialist.

During the Allegheny County season, the team finished with a record of 4-1, making it the second-place team in the county.
