Wilkins Elementary Students Earn Wolverine Spirit Awards

Congrats to these students!

Two students from Wilkins Elementary were the Wolverine Spirit Awardees in March.

At this month's school board meeting, Chance Smeltzer, a sixth grader, was nominated by his teacher, Sue Lewis, because “he always gives a 100 percent effort. He is a very hard worker and is very conscientious about his work assignments. He exemplifies the true Wolverine Spirit.”

Lavar Crumbley, a first grader, was the second award winner of the night. He was nominated by his teacher, Erik Meredith, who nominated him because “he comes to school everyday and works very hard. He tries his best from the moment he walks in until he leaves. He is a great role-model for the other students.”
