Today's Last Day to Register for 'Our Communities Got Talent'
Auditions for children K-12 are set for Sept. 13 at Western PA School for the Deaf; Block Party Talent Show takes place Sept. 22.
Today (Tuesday, Sept. 11) is the last day to register to audition for the "Our Communities Got Talent" Block Party Talent Show.
The show is Saturday, Sept. 22, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the , 300 East Swissvale Ave., Edgewood.
Auditions are open to students in grades K-12 who live in or attend school in , , Wilkinsburg or . To register, complete the registration form and return it by email today to sbartlebaugh@wpsd.org. Click on the attached PDF above for registration form.

Auditions will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. this Thursday, Sept. 13. Each applicant will be assigned a specific audition time.
Only family-appropriate acts will be accepted. Performers under age 18 must have a permission form from a parent or guardian.

Those auditioning must bring their own props, costumes or musical instruments. Entrants using musical accompaniment should bring music ready and cued on CD.
Acts will be judged for talent/overall performance, showmanship/stage presence and creativity.
Cash prizes will be $100 for first place, $75 for second place and $50 for third place. All participants will receive a gift bag.
The show is presented by the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf.
