Nate Valyo, a student in , is headed to the Pennsylvania state championship in the National Geographic Bee on March 30.
The state winner will compete in Washington DC and meet the host Alex Trebek of Jeopardy!
Valyo first won the St. Maurice School geography bee in fifth grade. He went on to win in sixth grade and again this year, as he is now in seventh grade.

This is the first year he was among the top 100 state test scores to make it to the Pennsylvania National Geographic Bee. He is an honor roll student and an altar server at St. Maurice. He also plays soccer, Forest Hills baseball and inline hockey.
