Shaffer Elementary Student Wins in River Sweep Poster Contest

Annie Li was the first-grade winner in six-state contest.

Annie Li, a first-grade student at Shaffer Elementary School in Churchill, was the first-grade winner in the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission's River Sweep Poster Contest

Her poster was one of 2,000 entered into the contest where students in the six states that border the Ohio River and its tributaries compete. She will receive a check for $50.
