Shady Side Academy Offers 'Spy Camp'

Shady Side Academy is hosting Spy Camp, its inaugural winter break camp for students in grades kindergarten through fifth.

The camp will be held the week of Dec. 19 to 23 at the SSA Junior School and is open to students of any school. Register online at www.shadysideacademy.org/summer .

At Spy Camp, campers will work in teams to break codes, decipher clues, train for reconnaissance and learn how to be a proper spy. With a villainous crime syndicate on the loose, its up to the campers to solve daily mysteries and eventually capture the crime boss!

Campers will be grouped in separate sections according to age, size and ability. The program is regulated so that campers have time for leisure and can participate in some activities of their own choosing. Parents can register their children for single days or the entire week. Extended care is available as early as 8 a.m. and as late as 6 p.m. for an additional cost. Lunch is included. Free transportation will be provided from the SSA Senior School campus in Fox Chapel.
