'Pumpkins' Is Theme for East Catholic Preschooler Story Time Oct. 17

The story time is the first for the monthly story times planned at the school library in Forest Hills.

East Catholic School will hold its first preschooler story time on Wednesday Oct. 17, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the school library.

The free story, rhyme, song and craft program designed to entertain and engage young children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old and give them a positive introduction to books and the habit of reading. Each monthly program will feature engaging books, favorite stories and lively activities.

The theme for the first of the monthly story times is "Pumpkins."

Children, along with their parents or guardians, are invited to visit and participate. The last day for registration each month is the second Monday; the first deadline is Oct. 15.

Registration is required and can be made by calling the East Catholic School office at 412-351-5403 during school hours (8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.). The school is at the corner of Ardmore Boulevard and Filmore Road in Forest Hills.
