Woodland, Wilkinsburg, Pittsburgh Schools Closed Tuesday

Woodland Hills, Wilkinsburg and Pittsburgh Public Schools will be closed Tuesday due to the severe weather forecasts.

Pittsburgh has also cancelled all after-school activities for Monday and Tuesday—including club meetings, athletic games and practices, and activities with community organizations that hold building permits.

Pittsburgh school officials are continuing to monitor the weather situation to determine if more closures and cancellations will occur throughout the week.

Due to the weather, Community College of Allegheny County's campuses and centers closed at 4 p.m. Monday and will be closed all day Tuesday, Oct. 30.

All classes, labs, clinical experiences, offices, student activities and other activities are cancelled. For more information, students and staff can call the Severe Weather Hotline for each campus:

In another weather-related closing, Rankin Christian Center is closed Tuesday.
