Last Chance to Support 'Shoot Out Cancer' Event

Six WPIAL rifle teams, including Woodland Hills, are "Shoot Out Cancer": Pediatric Cancer Research Fundraisers to benefit Children's Hospital Foundation.

Many of the WPIAL rifle teams are banding together to conduct "Shoot Out Cancer" events to raise money for pediatric cancer research. 

Six high schools, including Woodland Hills, Mt. Lebanon, Bethel Park, Plum, Butler and Hempfield are all holding the "Shoot Out Cancer " events during the weeks of March 11 and 18.

Woodland Hills held two events last week. The last chance to support the cause is tomorrow, Tuesday, March 19, from 2:30 to 7 p.m. with the Woodland Hills  and Hempfield teams.

If you cannot attend but would like to make a donation, you can send a check payable to the Woodland Hills Activity Fund, Shoot out Cancer, c/o M. Rodrigues, 2550 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh, PA 15221.

Proceeds benefit Children's Hospital Foundation.
