Kindergarten Registration Open for Pittsburgh Schools

Parents can register children for kindergarten in Pittsburgh Public Schools now through Feb. 15.

Regent Square parents—is your child ready to start kindergarten?

If you live in the City of Pittsburgh and your child turns 5 years old by Sept. 30, 2013, you can take part in kindergarten registration for Pittsburgh Public Schools, now through Feb. 15. Registration forms are available at neighborhood schools.

To determine the assigned school or information needed to enroll, parents are asked to contact the Parent Hotline at 412-622-7920 or see the kindergarten registration page on the Pittsburgh Public Schools website.

  • Two proofs of residency.
  • Evidence of the child's date of birth.
  • Immunization records.

If students are already registered for a kindergarten magnet school and have been accepted, they do not need to register.
