Edgewood Student a Finalist in PBS Kids Go! Writing Contest

You can vote for Keller Dorgan, a third-grader from Edgewood, to win the writing contest.

A Woodland Hills School District third-grader is being recognized for his storytelling, and you can help him win a contest.

Keller Dorgan, a third-grader from Edgewood,has been selected as a finalist for the PBS Kids Go! Writing Contest.

The contest is held by many local PBS member stations for kids in kindgergarten through third grade who want to write and illustrate their own stories. Students who were interested, submitted their stories.

Keller, 9, wrote a story called "Soccer Sleuth and the Missing Playbook." His story revolves around the search for a missing playbook before an important soccer championship game.

The 2013 Kids' Choice Award winner will be announced at the winners' event at WQED, and the talented author of the most popular story will win a special honor and prize.
