Broadway Star's Visit Offers a Peek at Woodland Hills' 'Young Frankenstein'

When Broadway star E. Clayton Cornelious visited his alma mater last week, he asked for some of this year's musical cast to perform—and Marika Countouris got her chance to shine for the stars.

When E. Clayton Cornelious and his "Sister Act" co-stars Diane J. Finlay and Lael Van Keuren visited the Woodland Hills stage last Friday, it was an opportunity for this year's musical cast members to get a few pointers from the pros.

The Broadway stars, who were in town last week with the national Broadway tour of "Sister Act," stopped in at the high school to talk about their careers with the musical cast and performing arts class students.

Cornelious, who once was a cast member on the same stage in Woodland Hills' productions of "Lil' Abner," "Peter Pan" and "Annie Get Your Gun," offered some advice to Marika Countouris, who plays Elizabeth in this year's "Young Frankenstein." She performed "Please Don't Touch Me" for the "Sister Act" visitors.
