Municipal offices and banks among the places closed for the Monday holiday.
Monday is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day—and that means there are a number of local closings in honor of the day.
Among the places closed on Monday, Jan. 21, for the holiday are:
- Municipal offices in Forest Hills and Swissvale
- Woodland Hills and Wilkinsburg school districts
- District court offices of Thomas Caulfield in Forest Hills and Kim M. Hoots in Wilkinsburg
- U.S. post offices in Swissvale and Wilkinsburg (no mail delivery on Monday)
- Banks: First Commonwealth Bank in Forest Hills and Regent Square, PNC Bank in Swissvale and Forest Hills, Citizens Bank in Swissvale and Forest Hills
- Construction Junction in Point Breeze
