Romney Campaign Launches 'Mitt's VP' App

Four years ago, Obama announced via text message the selection of Joe Biden as his running mate. Romney will utilize technology as well.

Mitt Romney's campaign Tuesday announced the release of a new—free—app, for iPhone and Android, that will serve to break the news of Romney's vice presidential nominee, according to The Washington Post.

The Republican presidential candidate is expected to make his decision once he returns to the U.S. and before the Republican National Convention, which kicks off on Aug. 27, the newspaper reports.

Rumored to be in the running are Pennsylvania Sen. Pat Toomey, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal—just to name a few.
