Guide Rail Repairs to Begin on Parkway East

All exits and ramps will remain open during the work.

PennDOT plans intermittent, short-term single lane and shoulder closures on Saturday, Sept. 21 in several locations on I-376.

According to PennDOT, the brief lane closures and restrictions are necessary as crews conduct guide rail repairs.

Work will occur from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday in the following areas:

Parkway East (I-376): Both directions between the Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) and Churchill (Exit 79-B) interchanges.

Parkway West: Both directions between the I-79 (Exit 64-A) interchange and the Fort Pitt Tunnel.

All exits and ramps will remain open during the work. The prime contractor for the repairs is Penn Line Services, Inc.
