Woman Hit By School Bus in Forest Hills

The hit-and-run accident occurred on Greensburg Pike Wednesday morning.

A woman is in critical condition after being hit by a school bus in Forest Hills on Wednesday.

According to WPXI, Alberta Slaczka was taking a walk Wednesday morning when she was hit by a school bus.

According to WTAE, she was hit at about 8 a.m. on Carl Avenue and then dragged onto Greensburg Pike.

The driver of the bus reportedly drove off. Slaczka suffered a broken hip and broken ribs.

Police closed Greensburg Pike from Marion Avenue to Elizabeth Street for several hours following the accident.

They continue to investigate the incident. On Thursday morning, officers were stopping motorists and asking if they had seen or heard anything.
