Woman Accused of Stealing Clothes, Perfume from Edgewood Store

Here are the Edgewood police reports for April 18 to 25.

A woman is facing charges after being accused of stealing $33 worth of items from an Edgewood clothing store.

Jenna Orkwis, 33, was charged with retail theft. According to Edgewood police, she allegedly attempted to steal two shirts and a bottle of perfume from Rainbow at the Edgewood Towne Centre on April 23.

The following incidents also were reported to Edgewood Police Department.

April 20

Officers assisted the Wilkinsburg Police Department with a burglary. Two people were arrested after being accused of stealing copper piping.

April 22

An employee of the Giant Eagle at Edgewood Towne Centre reported that she had been harassed by two females.

April 23

A 59-year-old man was taken to a hospital after falling in the middle of the street and hitting his head at the intersection of Pennwood and West Hutchinson avenues. The man faces public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges.
