Wilkinsburg Man Accused of Threatening Paralyzed Policeman

Irvin Glaze was charged with harassment and other charges Monday, after authorities say he threatened officer James Kuzak. He was jailed today.

A Wilkinsburg man is in jail after the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Department charged him Monday with threatening James Kuzak, the policeman who was paralyzed after being shot while responding to a home invasion while working in Clairton.

“Investigators say (Irvin) Glaze threatened to knock Kuzak out of his wheelchair following the acquittal of two men on attempted homicide charges in connection with (the) April 2011 home-invasion,” the Associated Press reported.

“Officials say the man, Glaze, also caused a disturbance in a courtroom after threatening Kuzak,” according to the news agency.
