Wilkinsburg Court: Hoots Hears Firearm, DUI Cases

Judge Kim Hoots heard two cases on April 11.

Wilkinsburg District Justice Kim Hoots heard the following cases on April 11:

  • Garland Cheyenne Horton, 21, of Wilkinsburg was held for court on charges of possession of a firearm prohibited and firearms not to be carried without a license. Wilkinsburg police filed the charges after a March 14 incident on the 500 block of Clair Way.
  • Eric Lee, 28, of Turtle Creek waived a preliminary hearing on charges of driving the wrong way and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. A charge of driving with a suspended license was withdrawn. Wilkinsburg police filed the charges after a Jan. 24 incident on Glenn Avenue.
