Tree Falls On Forest Hills Home After Storm

Thunderstorms that swept through the area earlier this week caused some damage throughout Forest Hills and Edgewood.

On June 25, Forest Hills police responded to Bryn Mawr Road for reports of a tree down through a house. According to police, the home's resident wasn't present when the tree broke through the second story of the structure.

Other damage included tree limbs on wires on Barclay Avenue and a fallen tree that blocked Ardmore Boulevard.

In Edgewood, a branch fell onto an occupied vehicle on Race and Pennwood. No one was injured. A live wire also fell into a parked vehicle on Race Street.
