Suspended Wilkinsburg Attorney Faces Forgery, Theft Charges

Allan Gallimore of Wilkinsburg is accused of forging his retired partner's signature on documents and mishandling estate fund money.

Allan Gallimore, 58, of Wilkinsburg, whose license to practice law was suspended in 2008, faces charges of theft, forgery and unauthorized practice of law.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Gallimore allegedly forged his retired partner's signature on court documents and inappropriately using money meant for estate funds.

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Gallimore forged the signatures of two lawyers when he filed divorce, estate and other civil cases. Gallimore also is accused of taking $18,000 from the estate of one client.

Gallimore faces a preliminary hearing Monday morning in Pittsburgh Municipal Court.
