The Swissvale police are investigating an attempted child abduction that was reported Wednesday morning.
According to police, a 12-year-old girl said she was at the Dickson School on Schoyer Avenue when a man tried to abduct her at about 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
The man was described as having a blond or white beard, wearing blue jeans and driving a box truck.
