UPDATED: Plum Fire Units Respond to Structure Fire on Shasta Drive, No Injuries Reported

Units still are on scene and the road in closed.

Plum fire officials have responded to a structure fire on Shasta Drive—no one was injured.

—with back up from , Sardis and Murrysville fire departments—responded to the single-family home fire. It was reported at 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

Holiday Park fire Chief Jim Reynolds said it appeared to be an electrical fire caused by an appliance or wires. The county fire marshal was on scene investigating the matter.

Reynolds said the fire was contained in a second-floor bedroom and it was put out quickly. No one was injured.

Crews are wrapping up. As of 9:30 p.m., parts of Shasta Drive were closed off to motorists.
