North Braddock Man Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison for Participating in Heroin Conspiracy

Russell Franklin, 26, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

A North Braddock man has been sentenced in federal court to 10 years in prison and three years supervised release on his conviction of conspiracy to distribute andpossess with the intent to distribute heroin.

U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab imposed the sentence on Russell Franklin, 26, last week, according to a release from U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton.

According to the release, Franklin participated in a conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute heroin between February 2011 and April 2011.
