Man Waives Hearing After Road Rage Incident

A Carnegie man has waived a preliminary hearing on charges stemming from a road rage incident on the Parkway East earlier this year.

A Carnegie man has waived a preliminary hearing on charges stemming from a road rage incident on the Parkway East earlier this year.

Robert Edward Carmack, 48, waived a hearing on a simple assault charge. Charges of recklessly endangering another person and terroristic threats were withdrawn. The case went before Forest Hills District Justice Thomas Caulfield.

Pennsylvania State Police accuse Carmack of pointing a gun at another motorist through the rearview mirror, as well as when he got out of the car. The incident occurred at the Churchill exit on the Parkway East on Jan. 22.
