Man Held For Court After Leading Police On Foot Chase

Wilkinsburg District Judge Kim Hoots heard the following cases on May 30:

  • Stephon Harris, 27, of Wilkinsburg, was held for court on charges of manufacture, deliver or possess a controlled substance; recklessly endangering another person; intent to possess a controlled substance; and criminal trespass. Wilkinsburg police filed the charges after a May 8 incident in which Harris is accused of leading police on a foot chase through Vicky Way, Doyle Street and Robinson Boulevard. He entered a home and threatened its residents before police caught up with him. 
  • Dennis Richardson, 54, of Wilkinsburg, waived a preliminary hearing on charges of simple assault and possession of marijuana. A charge of terroristic threats was withdraw. Wilkinsburg police filed the charges after a May 16 incident on Princeton Boulevard.
