Man Accused of Stealing Car

Here are the Forest Hills police reports for May 24 to 30.

A Forest Hills man is accused of stealing a vehicle.
Borough police have charged Richard Webb, 52, with theft, forgery, two counts of receiving stolen property and two counts of access device fraud.
Webb is accused of taking an Avenue A resident's car and using the man's credit card at the North Versailles Wal-Mart. Police identified Webb on the store's surveillance system.

The following incidents also were reported to the Forest Hills Police Department:

May 25

  • Police were called to the Rite Aid on Ardmore Boulevard for suspicious activity. Employees reported that someone was attempting to return items that were suspected to have been stolen.
May 26
  • A laptop was reported stolen by a woman at the Laurel Garden Apartments on Ardmore Boulevard.
May 27
  • Officers assisted Wilkins Township Police with a shooting at the intersection of Thompson Run Road and Larimer Avenue. They helped locate bullet casings and provided traffic control.
May 29
  • Police reported to Marwood Avenue after people reported juveniles digging in their yards.
