July 31 cases

  • Dante Lee Dixon, 21, of Swissvale was held for court on two sets of charges. Swissvale police charged him with criminal use of a facility, intent to possess a controlled substance, and two counts to manufacture, deliver and possession of a controlled substance after a May 7 drug deal on Woodstock Avenue. They also charged him with criminal use of a facility, intent to possess a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts to manufacture, deliver and possession of a controlled substance after a May 16 drug deal on Woodstock Avenue.
  • Lael Connor, 37, of Swissvale, was held for court on charges if simple assault and harassment. Swissvale police filed the charges after a June 15 incident on Collingwood Avenue.
  • Scott Eric Burton, 31, of Swissvale, waived a preliminary hearing on two counts of manufacture, deliver and possess a controlled substance with intent; two counts of intent to possess a controlled substance; and three counts of conspiracy. Swissvale police filed the charges following an April 12 drug deal on Ferguson Way.
  • Jessica R. Colella, 21, of Monroeville; and Darin W. Baird, 47, of Turtle Creek, waived preliminary hearings on charges of intent to possess a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Colella also was charged with a traffic violation. Forest Hills police filed the charges after a March 8 traffic stop on Marion Avenue.
  • John W. Bellard Jr., 40, of North Versailles, waived a preliminary hearing on charges of possession of marijuana; two counts of intent to possess a controlled substance; and two counts of manufacture, deliver and possession of a controlled substance. Swissvale police filed the charged after an April 14 incident on Hazeltime Way.
  • Chase Wright, 24, of Swissvale, was held for court on a charge of receiving stolen property. Another charge of receiving stolen property was dismissed. Swissvale police filed the charges after a May 21 incident in which he was accused of stealing two cars.
  • Dianna Marie Vento, 32, of Monroeville, waived a preliminary hearing on charges of tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, contraband and two counts of intent to possess a controlled substance. Churchill police filed the charges after a June 14 traffic stop on Greensburg Pike.
  • Darrell Lamont Ware Jr., 23, of Homewood, waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of firearm not to be carried without a license. A charge of receiving stolen property was withdrawn. Churchill police filed the charges following a June 21 traffic stop on William Penn Highway.
Aug. 7 Cases
  • Anthony M. Prince, 27, of Braddock, was held for court on charges of criminal use of a facility; conspiracy; assault; resisting arrest; intent to possess a controlled substance; driving with a suspended license; and two counts of manufacture, delivery or possession on a controlled substance. Swissvale police filed the charges after a June 13 drug deal on the 1300 block of South Braddock Avenue.
  • Ernest William Hester III, 21, of Penn Hills, waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and two traffic violations were withdrawn. Churchill police filed the charges after a June 22 incident on the parkway ramp.
  • Bryson Keith Brown, 21, of Greensburg, waived a preliminary hearing on charges of intent to possess a controlled substance; manufacture, delivery and possession of a controlled substance; and two counts of conspiracy. Swissvale police filed the charges after a June 11 incident on Miriam Street.
  • Darien Dayvon Clark, 20, of Pittsburgh; and Rolston Davon Skeffery, 18, of Penn Hills, were held for court on charges of conspiracy; manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance; and driving with a suspended license. Clark also was charged with three traffic violations. Churchill police filed the charges after a June 17 incident on William Penn Highway.
