Former Woodland Hills Football Player's Drug Charge Dismissed

The suspended Pitt football player performed community service.

Suspended Pitt football player and former Woodland Hills football player Khanyin Mosley-Smith has had his drug paraphernalia charge dismissed, according to the Post-Gazette.

Mosley-Smith did not show up for his preliminary hearing on Wednesday morning, but went to court later that day with proof of community service, according to the report.

Mosley-Smith received the charge last month when Pittsburgh police made an uncover drug buy with a man who lived in the same South Oakland house. Darnell Reed-Young, 22, of the North Side, is charged with possession of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance, possession wit intent to deliver controlled substance and use or possession of paraphernalia.

Two other Pitt football players that lived in the house, Eric Williams and Andrew Carswell, were charged with drug paraphernalia and were dismissed from the team.

Williams did not appear for his hearing on Wednesday and was held for trial.
