Forest Hills Court Hears Heroin, Burglary Cases

The latest from the court in Forest Hills.

The following cases recently were heard by in :

Jaqua Lynn Evans, 29, of Swissvale waived her right to a preliminary hearing on charges of two counts of drug possession, possession with intent to sell and criminal conspiracy. In the criminal complaint, Swissvale police said they seized 86 stamp bags of heroin, loose crack cocaine and roughly $900 in cash from Evans’ apartment during a search on March 22.

Timothy Lee Binion, 32, of Monroeville waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of drug possession, possession with intent to sell and criminal conspiracy. Swissvale police charged Binion on March 22 after an arranged sale during which he had 11 stamp bags of heroin, according to the criminal complaint. Binion’s arrest led to a search warrant for Jaqua Lynn Evans.

Bryan Adam Mazon, 24, of Penn Hills waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of drug possession and criminal conspiracy. Swissvale police charged Mazon on March 21 after they followed him from a drug sale and seized 21 stamp bags of heroin. Police suspect he bought from Timothy Lee Binion.

Quentin Lamar Lee, 20, was held for court on charges of burglary, theft, criminal trespassing, criminal conspiracy and criminal mischief. Churchill police charged Lee on May 22.

Scott Fitzgerald Reed Jr., 20, of Braddock Hills was held for court on charges of receiving stolen property and driving without a license. Swissvale police charged Reed on May 24 after he was pulled over in a stolen car.

Jane M. Tinker, 52, of Churchill waived her right to a preliminary hearing on charges of DUI, speeding and reckless driving. Churchill police charged Tinker on April 3.

John T. Ohm, 50, of Penn Hills waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license and careless driving. Churchill police charged Ohm on Feb. 4.
