Forest Hills Court: DUI, Drug Cases Heard

The following cases recently were heard by in :

Emil L. Thornton, 39, of Wilkinsburg waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI, parking improperly on a two-lane highway and careless driving. Forest Hills police charged Thornton May 19.

Justin Izayahe Lindsey, 23, of North Braddock waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of firearms not to be carried without a license and driving the wrong way. Swissvale police charged Lindsey May 13.

Howard Thomas Brooks, 45, of Wilkinsburg waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of two counts of DUI, disregarding the traffic lane, and careless driving. Forest Hills police charged Brooks May 26.

Duane Fitzgerald Austin of Natrona Heights waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of two counts of DUI, disregarding the traffic lane, exceeding 55 mph by 15 mph, careless driving and restraint systems. State police charged Austin May 16.
