Alleged Edgewood Towne Centre Shooter Surrenders to Police

Tyron David Manns, 23, of East Pittsburgh is facing several charges.

A man accused of being involved in a shooting at Edgewood Towne Centre has surrendered to police.

According to Allegheny County Police Lt. Andrew Schurman, Tyron David Manns, 23, surrendered himself to the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office fugitive squad Thursday afternoon.

Police has issued an arrest warrant for Manns, an East Pittsburgh resident, on April 1 after a March 30 shooting at Edgewood Towne Centre. Three bystanders were injured during the incident.

Manns has been charged with criminal attempt-criminal homicide, carrying a firearm without a license, aggravated assault and four counts of recklessly endangering another person.

His preliminary hearing before District Justice Kim Hoots has been scheduled for April 18 at 8:30 a.m.

Manns was lodged at the Allegheny County Jail to await arraignment, according to police.
