Edgewood Primary Student Takes Plastic Gun to School
Here are the Edgewood police reports for April 13 to 19.
Edgewood police officers were called to Edgewood Primary on April 16 after a 9-year-old student brought a portion of a plastic toy BB gun to school.
The incident will be handled by the school administration.

April 14
Retail theft was reported at Giant Eagle at Edgewood Towne Centre. The suspect was taken to a local hospital for shoulder separation that occurred during a struggle with store security
April 15
A wallet with ID, debit card, and money was reported stolen from an unlocked locker at Planet Fitness. The gym is located at the Edgewood Towne Centre.
April 16
Sam Thomas, 25, of Rankin was charged with aggravated assault by a vehicle while driving under the influence of alcohol of a controlled substance, traffic control signals, careless driving, reckless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol of a controlled substance after an accident on South Braddock Avenue.

April 17
A vehicle rear ended a school van on Edgewood Avenue. No injuries were reported.
