  • Police responded to a report of a suspicious person on Milton. They later found a homeless man behind Braddock Express who was unconscious after drinking mouthwash. He was taken to Shadyside Presbyterian UPMC Hospital for treatment.

  • An East End Avenue resident reported that someone tried to enter his vehicle, which was in a garage, overnight sometime last week.

July 13

  • Steven Sharratt was charged with public intoxication and taken to Shadyside Presbyterian UPMC Hospital after being found unconscious in a yard on Race Street.
  • A suspicious vehicle was reported at the borough dump. Justin Martin was cited for open container violations.
  • Cecil Birt was arrested for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct on Greendale.
